Improve your English while developing your acting skills. Guided by a professional actor and dialogue coach, you can enhance not only your English conversation but also your performance as an actor. You will learn relaxation techniques, voice and breath work, and improvisation. During the course, you will create a short video of your acting étude in English — one that will elevate your portfolio.
The course is suitable for participants with a conversational level of English.
Establishing physical presence, breath, and voice. Students begin using English from day one, with the emphasis on expressiveness over correctness.
Unit 2 — Character Work (Lessons 3–5)
Building characters from the inside out using objectives, obstacles, and actions. Scene partner work focuses on active listening and genuine response.
Unit 3 — Improv & Spontaneity
(Lesson 6) Core improv principles (yes-and, offer/accept) used to break perfectionism and build spontaneity. High-energy, playful tone.
Unit 4 — Camera & Industry Skills (Lessons 7–9)
Introduction to self-tapes, camera technique, and the difference between stage and screen acting. Final lesson is a self-tape masterclass where students prepare and submit a 60–90 second piece.
Unit 5 — Showcase (Lesson 10)
Each student performs a 2-minute piece of their choice, followed by spoken reflection in English and peer feedback.
